RANTS:
- still sleepy, but i woke up EXTRA early to prepare for today's presentation!
- had to look for fresh fuchsia gumamelas from my neighbors to bring to school
- our teacher didn't show up today!!! GRRRR! no presentation... postponed to next week!
- had to bring all our stuff and plates home again! (sayang all our preparations!)
- can't put this particular project out of my mind just yet... CRAPPY! because i have to get started on a new concept plate!
- rearranged and fixed our new group schedule... found out that we're going to be super busy with interviews and meetings for our bakeshop plate, bar lounge presentation, beauty spa presentation and a midterm exam! (and that's just for next week!)
- went to Shangri-La Mall Starbucks and couldn't even buy a Frapp for myself 'coz I paid for my graduation pictures this morning... and forgot to bring extra cash!
- left all my credit cards and ATM at home (so no shopping for me)
- headache!
- bumpy ride home and spilt Coke all over my new white pants! stain!!!
- had to go home right away and change clothes
- it's only 2:30pm... what more could happen?
RAVE:

What really goes on during our "project meetings"
I've been spending most of my time for the past few weeks with my Chinky-Chix-Fab-5-Groupmates... and so far, we've been coming up with terrific ideas, perspectives and "funny pakulos" for our presentations.
What's great about us is that we are also having fun getting to know each other! Lots of give and take, compromises, debates (sometimes solo! haha), research work, lunch meetings, dinner meetings, meetings over YM, yellow cab pizzas, trip to larry's, overnites, starbucks, eyebags (waah!), cramming, photo ops, bonding sessions... mixed with REAL HARD WORK of course... THIS, i think, is the secret formula to survive design school! Meetings are never really boring (unless you count the times when half the group is bangag and zombie-like) haha!
I just hope this easy camaraderie, wonderful teamwork and crazy banter will last us all throughout the year!

Thank you...
I recently came upon this article in my email and realized how wonderfully TRUE this is...
Just wanted to share and thank you all...
To The Wonderful Women in My Circle
When I was little, I used to believe in the concept of one best friend, and then I started to become a woman. And then I found out that if you allow your heart to open up, God would show you the best in many friends.
One friend's best is needed when you're going through things with your man. Another friend's best is needed when you're going through things with your mother. Another when you want to shop, share, heal, hurt, joke, or just be.
One friend will say let's pray together, another let's cry together, another let's fight together, another let's walk away together.
One friend will meet your spiritual need, another your shoe fetish, another your love for movies, another will be with you in your season of confusion, another will be your clarifier, another the wind beneath your wings.
But what ever their assignment in your life, on whatever the occasion, on whatever the day, or wherever you need them to meet you with their gym shoes on and hair pulled back or to hold you back from making acomplete fool of yourself... those are your bestfriends.
It may all be wrapped up in one woman, but for many it's wrapped up in several... one from elementary days, three from high school, several from the college years, a couple from old jobs, several from church, on some days your mother, on others your sisters, and on some days it's the one that you needed just for that day or week that you needed someone with a fresh perspective, or the one who didn't know all your baggage, or the one who would just listen without judging... those are good girlfriends/best friends.
Men are wonderful, husbands are excellent, boyfriends are awesome, male friends are priceless... but if you've ever had a real good girlfriend, then you know there's nothing like her!
I thank my girlfriends, those who honor intimacy, those who hold trust and those who just got your back when you feel like life is just too heavy! I thank you. The special bond we share, that's unique to us. The words we've shared. The prayers we've sent up. The laughs, the tears, the phone calls, the emails, the shopping, the movies especially the lunches (gossip telling, oh how intriguing...,) the dinners, the late night talks, afternoon talks, the weekend talks, all the talking, talking, talking and the listening, listening, listening....
So whether you've been there 20 minutes or 20 years, I love you friend!
Lazy Blogger
Reasons why I haven't updated my Blog in the last few weeks:
1. too busy with homeworks and projects and meetings... (nerd!)
2. American Idol season 4

3. finishing "Rosie Dunne" (cool book!)
4. shopping! (what can i do? those SALE and 50% OFF signs
are calling me!)
5. eating and sleeping during my free time (reminder: GYM)
6. too many things happening (which i don't really want to post here)
7. just lazy!
